How to find us
By Air
Most international flights land at Malaga airport, 2 hours’ drive away. It’s worth also checking flights into Granada airport (90 minutes away). Many airlines operate daily direct flights to Malaga including Easyjet and Ryanair, British Airways, Iberia, Vueling, Norwegian, to name but a few.
By Train
In 2019 Granada was added to the high-speed rail network in Spain. Take the time to travel by train, and we can arrange a taxi for you from Granada Train Station.
By Car
We recommend car hire as the best way of getting to Casa Ana, and getting around the Alpujarras. There is a wide choice of car hire companies at both airports. However if you are coming on a group holiday or to a retreat at Casa Ana you should have no need of a car, as we organise minibuses and/or taxis as required.

Car parking: free parking is available in the plaza, a couple of minutes’ walk (94 metres) from the house.
By Bus
Buses run three times daily from Granada to the village of Pitres (the nearest bus stop to Ferreirola). From Malaga there are daily buses via Orgiva or Granada. See the ALSA Bus Service website for timetables and prices. Or visit the Google Transit website for route and timetable planning from Malaga or Granada.
By Taxi
Taxis and minibuses are available from both airports. We can book a taxi or minibus for you in advance.

“Casa Ana is situated in a small, quiet, unspoiled village with outstanding views and easy access for walking. The accommodation has been tastefully restored. Our room was on the ground level (ideal for disabled visitors) clean and well appointed. The food was excellent with attention to detail. We would certainly recommend it..”
